About North Texas Surplus

Rooted in Texas.
Built on Trust.

I'm Joey Mitchell. I was raised on faith, family, and hard work. Those values guide how we do business today, buying electrical surplus nationwide from our home in Texas.

Commit thy works unto the LORD,
and thy thoughts shall be established.

Proverbs 16:3

Our Story

Humble Beginnings to Nationwide Service.

My father and I got our start by stopping at a business that was closing. We made a deal, loaded the materials, and found buyers. That first purchase showed me we could build a business while helping people find electrical supplies for repairs on a budget.

Working together, we built relationships through hard work, honesty, and fair dealings. When I branched out on my own, I carried those lessons with me. They still guide how I work with sellers and keep useful materials moving today.

Faith & Family

More Than a Business.
An American Family Legacy.

My Christian faith and my family are at the center of my life. The values I learned with my father still guide me: honesty, integrity, and treating people fairly.

I count the life Diane and I have built together as a blessing from God. Our daughter Joanna is another blessing, and I'm grateful for the family we share.

Joey, Diane and Joanna

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear
my voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:20 · KJV

Our Commitment

Handshakes still mean something.

I believe the way we treat people matters just as much as the work we do. When you call, you'll speak with me about your materials and what you need.

  • Fair dealings.

I believe in being honest, keeping my word, and treating people fairly.

  • A real conversation.

You'll speak directly with me about what you have, where it is, and what you need to move.

  • Practical help.

We can discuss an evaluation and pickup at your site or warehouse, so useful surplus can keep moving.

Let's talk.

Tell me what you have available. I'll be happy to discuss your materials and the next steps.
